Project Time & Cost wins 'Best' Award for Millennium Gate

Project Time & Cost, Inc. (PT&C) shared in the Best Public Building for 2008 Award, issued by McGraw Hill Construction’s Southeast Construction magazine. This regional construction publication honors the Southeast’s (Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina) top construction and design projects. “Best of” is the highest category awarded to projects from Southeast Construction.
PT&C served as Project Manager for the Millennium Gate Monument, located in Atlantic Station, in midtown Atlanta. The finished gate is a smaller version of and modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. The Atlanta monument rises 100 feet and is billed as the largest public monument built in the US since the Jefferson Memorial. The Gate houses a 12,000 square foot museum that narrates Georgia's and Atlanta's history through interactive technology, film and exhibitions.The owner of the $20 million project is the National Monuments Foundation.
PT&C’s project management was directed for 3 years by Certified Cost Consultant, Tim Babb. Tim’s responsibilities included management of two architectural firms, including one from London to insure classical integrity, engineering work and all contractor and subcontractors for New South Construction Co. Tim has been a part of PT&C for 13 of his 31 year professional career.
