(January 2, 2007) Project Time & Cost (PT&C)
Project Time & Cost, Inc. celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year. In 1982,
Gene Brooks had a vision…to build his own cost engineering firm focused on service -
a firm where first time clients become long term clients. Together with Donna Cox,
Ken Roberts, Patricia Jones, Beth Godfrey, Aubert Alexander, Tim Curl,
Charles Longley and Barry Brooks (no relation), Gene Brooks started
PT&C and celebrated its incorporation.
In spite of the numerous fluctuations in the economy and a recession which began in 1989,
PT&C experienced remarkable success in an exceptionally competitive industry. We attribute
this success to our focus on quality performance and customer satisfaction, made possible
by our experienced professionals, committed to excellence. Over the years, our cost engineers
have served the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; U.S. Army Engineering Center;
U.S. Department of Energy; General Services Administration; Center for Disease Control,
colleges and universities; and community hospitals. PT&C continually evolves to meet the
new challenges of our market and the needs of our clients.
With the recent addition of PT&C Forensic Consulting Services, P.A., PT&C served clients
and the affected communities with recovery efforts resulting from damage caused by
Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. PT&C’s forensic staff was deployed immediately.
Currently, PT&C Forensic Consulting Services, P.A. serves 247 clients worldwide.
In 25 years, how much has PT&C changed? We started with 9 employees. Last year,
we had 61 employees. This year, our team is over 160 employees strong! Our growth and
success are directly attributable to our extraordinary staff. The future of
Project Time & Cost, Inc. and PT&C Forensic Consulting Services, P.A. is very bright and exciting.
